It's time to turn a page,

Somewhere, somehows, a new year starts
If I never made resolutions, this year, I'll try something new
Yeah, I know, I am crazy like that, I like to do new things
To begin this new year, I will choose a scary little thing called: happiness.
If in the mad world we live in,
Happiness can seem fluffy, fake, selfish,
It remains the best thing we can do in this life.
On top of it, I hear happiness is great for the immune system,
Gotta keep that body healthy, cause it's the only one you got.

It's time to turn a page,
Breathe in and relax, happiness is the moment.

So, life isn't always what you wanted it to be,
But who said you'd get what you wanted,
As the song goes, you get what you need.
Oh, if sometimes, it seems the world is going to shit,
The truth is, no one knows how the world will go.
Pollution, wars, corruption, this is all true.
Flowers, beautiful things, loved ones, this is also true.
It's the age old battle between the dark and the light wolf,
Which you want to feed is your own personal choice.

So, you lost a dear one.
Fare them goodbye and good travels,
Respect their journey, them too had to fly aways
As we all do some day
Remember the good moments, be thankfull for what you shared,
Forms come and go, impermanent and transient
They'll be back when it's time to meet again,
Your heart will know what is dear.

So, some guy or some girl broke your heart,
Get over it, learn your lesson, move on, and good ridance.
Know that some people will never give you what you want,
They are there to teach you to say no and set your own limits.
Forget the "I am busy", forget the escuses,
Someone who wants to be there, will be there.
In the end, happiness is a choice, not something that just happens by magic.
